Editorial Design
Working at Twinkl, I contribute to the creation of a wide range of educational resources, including but not limited to activity sheets, flashcards, PowerPoint presentations, quizzes, activity booklets, e-books, posters, banners, interactive PDFs, coloring pages, and assessments. My role is to design visually engaging and effective learning materials for both children and adults across various subjects, such as Math, Science, STEM, Comprehension, and Phonics. The educational materials vary based on different stages of children's learning, adhering to multiple levels of competency and understanding, from Early Years to KS1, KS2, and KS3.
I effectively collaborate with teams across Australia, England, USA, Brazil and Ireland, ensuring that resources meet the educational standards of each region. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, I design over 100 individual resources per month, equating to an average of 300+ pages. My responsibilities include working closely with writers and editors to ensure consistent branding and accuracy across all materials before publication.
This role highlights my expertise in educational design, multi-page layout design, branding, cross-collaboration, and multitasking within a fast-paced environment.
