About Stephanie

With a decade of experience in graphic design and a passion for education, I specialize in multi-page layout design across print and digital platforms. I’ve worked on everything from activity booklets and exam papers to digital magazines and branded content with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and visual storytelling.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Rhode Island College and have expanded my skills through continuing education at Rhode Island School of Design. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with teams across publishing, editorial, and marketing spaces, bringing a meticulous eye for typography, layout structure, and purposeful design.

Currently, I’m focused on contributing to impactful, learner-centered design while also partnering with clients on creative projects like branding, social graphics, and custom collateral.

Outside the studio, you’ll find me watercolor painting, practicing martial arts, or with a book in hand, always collecting inspiration for the next great project.

Design Principles & Values

Collaborative Design

I believe the best design solutions come from thoughtful collaboration. I thrive in cross-functional teams, working closely with writers, editors, marketers, and subject experts to create materials that are aligned, intentional, and impactful. My process is built on clear communication, shared goals, and respect for every contributor’s expertise.

Leadership

Whether developing templates or shaping layout systems, I bring initiative and creative direction to every project. I lead by example by organizing workflows, refining processes, and supporting others to elevate the quality and consistency of our collective output. My goal is to create work that’s not only beautiful but functional.

Design Accessibility

Good design should work for everyone. I prioritize clarity, readability, and inclusive visual choices to ensure that my work supports diverse users including those with dyslexia, learning differences, or limited visual literacy. From font selection to layout hierarchy, accessibility isn’t an afterthought, it’s built in from the start.

User-Centered Design

Every project starts with understanding who it's for. Whether I’m designing an exam paper for a student, a resource for a teacher, or a digital magazine for readers of all ages, I approach each challenge with empathy and curiosity. I tailor visual design to real-world needs, creating experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and effective.
